Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech to join our nationwide team. In this role, you'll support cardiology teams by assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique. You'll collaborate closely with nurses and cardiologists, monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and accurately document all care. Fusion offers a transparent, supportive culture with growth opportunities, competitive pay, and the chance to positively impact patient outcomes at leading healthcare facilities across the U.S. Responsibilities Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and radiation safety standards Prepare patients for procedures and monitor hemodynamic status throughout Document procedures, findings, and patient responses in the medical record Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes Maintain cath lab supplies, equipment readiness, and quality control checks Respond to emergent situations during procedures according to protocol Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Fluoroscopy and imaging operation Patient monitoring and assessment Radiation safety compliance Sterile technique and scrub skills Hemodynamic monitoring Contrast administration support Emergency response in cath lab Electronic medical records documentation Equipment troubleshooting and QC
