Key Qualifications:

Active credentials as a Cath Lab Technologist. Demonstrated proficiency in imaging techniques specific to the Cath Lab setting. Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and procedural workflows. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain imaging quality under time-sensitive conditions. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred. Familiarity with imaging equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and provide clear patient instructions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization and related procedures, ensuring clear and accurate images for diagnosis. Collaborate with physicians to assist with device placements, angioplasties, and other interventions. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes, positioning, and ensuring comfort. Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout the procedure. Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety standards. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or supply needs. Accurately document procedure details in patient records and hospital systems.
