Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician to support surgical teams in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role focuses on preparing and assisting with the care of pre-operative patients, requiring technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure smooth and safe cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgical teams by preparing the cardiovascular operating room and associated equipment Provide technical support during pre-operative patient care activities Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to facilitate efficient operating room workflow Respond effectively to intraoperative needs and equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Proven experience as a CVOR Technician or similar operating room technical role Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical equipment and procedures Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control standards Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Four 10-hour days (06:30 AM - 5:00 PM) on a rotating basis On-call requirements: Every fourth weekend Friday through Sunday and one on-call shift per week within a six-week rotation
