Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Take the next step in your healthcare career supporting a high-performing cardiovascular team in a busy Cath/EP Lab setting. This contract opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience, dynamic collaboration with leading clinicians, and exposure to advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
Schedule:
Full-time, weekdays: 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with one variable weekday off per week
On-call:
1 weekend per month (Friday 5:00 p.m. - Monday 6:30 a.m.)
On-call:
4 weeknights per month (5:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. next day) No regular weekend shifts outside of on-call commitments
Qualifications:
At least 1-2 years' experience in a cath/EP lab setting Proficient in scrubbing for heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures RCIS or RCES certification preferred; ARRT licensure considered if direct cath lab scrub experience with interventions Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system is a plus Strong ability to work independently as well as effectively within a fast-paced team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Scrub and assist for a wide range of cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures Ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy throughout diagnostic and interventional studies Collaborate with physicians and nurses in a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care Maintain detailed and up-to-date procedural documentation, with a preference for Merge Hemo experience Participate in rotating on-call duties as scheduled This 13-week contract provides a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in a sophisticated lab while broadening your own professional skill set.
