1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a hybrid OR role performing peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures, requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel assignment experience. Details Hybrid operating room setting performing endovascular and open vascular cases Procedures include peripheral vascular work, EVAR, TEVAR, declot, and TCAR 1:1 patient ratio 13-week contract Shift options include 3x12 hour days (6:30 AM-7:00 PM) or 4x10 hour days (6:30 AM-5:00 PM) Call required once a week and every fourth weekend Uses Epic, PACS, SBAR, and Pyxis systems May be assigned to Storm Team or Hurricane Team and required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters Potential reassignment to different units during contract consolidation Requirements ARRT R required, ARRT VI preferred BLS required License required if applicable Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required Prior travel assignment experience required Epic charting experience preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Proficiency with angioplasty, aortography, embolization, endograft placement, IVC filter placement/removal, and mesenteric angiogram Experience with EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, dialysis graft interventions, and upper/lower extremity angiography Skilled in vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), sterile technique, and equipment setup Experience with fluoroscopy and Siemens ultrasound equipment Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, scrubbing in to maintain sterile field, and maintaining inventory and supplies 36-hour orientation based on experience, with pre-start and annual online modules (approximately 8-10 hours for acute care roles) Scrubs provided Must work 2 of 3 major holidays Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved excluding holidays; no RTO permitted during first week of assignment or after signing Travel pairs allowed if placed on different units and disclosed at submission Former Novant Health/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before reapplying and disclose prior employment details Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower rate Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility
