Responsibilities Perform high-quality echocardiography, vascular ultrasound imaging, and other diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and attention to detail. Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, interventional radiology, and cardiac stress tests to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment. Monitor vital signs, analyze cardiac rhythms, and evaluate physiological data during imaging procedures to ensure comprehensive assessments. Operate sophisticated medical equipment including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), ensuring proper image storage and retrieval. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and emergency medicine teams in diagnostic evaluations within high-acuity settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers. Document findings thoroughly, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results clearly to the healthcare team for optimal patient management. Experience Proven experience in cardiovascular ultrasound imaging, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and cardiac diagnostics. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm analysis, and emergency medicine protocols in fast-paced hospital settings. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cardiovascular and vascular systems, physiology principles, and medical terminology. Experience working in trauma centers or emergency departments is highly desirable. Proficiency with medical equipment operation, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS).
