Job Description
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Professionals accomplished in Cath Lab Tech procedures play a key role in ensuring safe, high-quality diagnostics and treatment support for cardiovascular patients.
Key Qualifications:
Accredited training in Imaging Technology or related discipline. Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist. Demonstrated experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory environment. Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and assisting with interventional cardiac procedures. Strong knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and monitoring technology. Exceptional teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills. Ability to respond quickly in urgent situations and adapt to changing priorities.Primary Responsibilities:
Operate imaging systems during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Accurately follow physician directions and support patient positioning and preparation. Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures and communicate changes to the clinical team. Ensure bridging between imaging requirements and procedural needs for optimum care. Adhere to strict infection control and quality assurance protocols. Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient and procedure documentation. Participate actively in Cath Lab readiness, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with cardiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff.Schedule:
