$68/hr on W2

Local Shift:

9:00 AM-9:00 PM, 3 days/week

3 months, with possible extension Job Summary The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor patients and intracardiac pressures, operate and calibrate specialized equipment, maintain accurate procedure records, and support the cardiac care team during routine and emergency procedures. Key Responsibilities Monitor patients' blood pressure and report changes from baseline to the physician. Monitor catheter position by interpreting intracardiac pressures and record pressures from requested heart chambers. Maintain complete procedure records using the Cardiac Cath Lab computer system. Calibrate and operate equipment including A-Vox, Cardiac Output, and ACT. Communicate results to the physician and monitoring CVT. Provide procedural equipment such as catheters, wires, balloons, and stents. Perform data analysis, process procedure data, and print required documentation. Set up and calibrate the intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), establish initial timing, and fine-tune timing with the physician. Monitor the IABP and remain with the patient until transfer to the CCU, OR, or CSICU. Assist during emergencies with resuscitation measures, defibrillation, external pacing, suctioning, and artificial resuscitation. Replenish supplies and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Report serious equipment malfunctions and supply shortages to the supervisor. Learn and apply new Cardiac Cath Lab technologies and procedures, including flow wire, ultrasound, and rotablator. Operate power injectors for large-volume contrast dye injections. Set up equipment and instruments in a sterile field for cardiac catheterization procedures. Prepare procedure rooms and enter patient information into the DX system. Assist nursing staff with patient transportation. Required Skills & Experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
