Setting:

Cardiac Catheterization / Interventional Cardiology unit in a hospital Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (left and right heart) in the cath lab. Support PCI/PTCA, stent placement, and rotablator atherectomy as clinically indicated. Participate in cardiac implant/closure device procedures and assist with IABP placement/removal. Scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile technique; assist with equipment setup and device preparation. Monitor patient status, recognize dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias, and document results in EPIC.
