1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 1+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Details Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting Adult and older adult patient population 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call requirements apply Candidates will float as needed Uses
EPIC EMR
Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab required ACLS, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications required
CCI RCIS
certification preferred if ARRT-R not held NY state license required if applicable EPIC charting experience required Skills required include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, cardiac implant closure device, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, rotablator atherectomy, and scrub procedures Proficient in interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Skilled in sterile technique, equipment set up, and serving as room circulator Experience maintaining sterile field and following isolation precautions/PPE protocols Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Local candidates accepted only if living more than 50 miles from the facility Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted for travel rates Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted at time of submission Previous employees eligible to return after a 6-month system-wide break Call-off policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment; being placed on-call in lieu of a called-off shift counts as a called-off shift
