Job Description
Join our team as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech and play a vital role in delivering exceptional cardiovascular care in a state-of-the-art facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting life-saving procedures and contributing to patient outcomes. You will be integral to a new Cath Lab unit, providing technical expertise and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in every procedure.
Required Skills:
RCIS or ARRT certification, with current registration in Cardiovascular (CV), Interventional Technology (IR), or Vascular-Interventional Technology (VI) by theARRT NYS
Radiologic Technologist license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience with balloon pumps and conscious sedation training Proficiency with GE equipment and charting on Mac Lab Ability to scrub-in for surgical procedures and circulate within the procedure room Experience with radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging Willingness to take Stemi call and work a 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM shift, including weekends Nice toHave Skills:
Prior experience precepting staff in a Cath Lab setting Familiarity with additional interventional procedures and advanced imaging techniquesPreferred Education and Experience:
Certification in Cardiovascular or Interventional Technology Previous experience in a Cath Lab environment, particularly with balloon pumps and conscious sedation Strong understanding of interventional cardiology proceduresOther Requirements:
