In this vital role, you will assist in a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures within the interventional radiology suite. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and procedural efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and clinical knowledge directly impact patient outcomes. You will collaborate closely with the radiologist, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional interventional services. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile fields for vascular interventions, and diagnostic procedures Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment including imaging systems, ultrasound devices, and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection and uphold infection control standards during all procedures Support interventional procedures by passing wires, catheters, managing supplies, and ensuring procedural flow Experience Proven experience working in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting with a strong understanding of interventional procedures Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization, vascular ultrasound imaging, and diagnostic evaluation techniques Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cardiovascular interventions and physiology principles that support diagnostic accuracy Proficiency operating medical equipment such as fluoroscopy units, ultrasound machines, PACS systems Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail Join our team as a IR Scrub Technologist.
