1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience supporting IC, IR, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro procedures. Details IR Vascular Structural Heart and Cardiac EP cases across the Cath Lab unit Average daily caseload of 15 procedures Structural heart procedures such as TAVR Mitraclip and Watchman are covered by the in-house cath lab team Uses Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave Any electronic charting system accepted Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Weeknight and weekend call required On-call requirements include 8 call days within a 4-week period with a 2-hour callback minimum Weekend call is 1 out of every 3-5 weeks, covering Friday through Monday with 24-hour on-call Saturday and Sunday May float within scope within the cath lab unit but not to sister facilities Facility will attempt to accommodate consistent block scheduling Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab procedures ARRT-R certification required ACLS and BLS certification required State license required if applicable Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations Skilled in cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, and rotablator atherectomy Experience with IABP placement/removal and cardiac implant closure devices Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias Experience in scrub, circulator, and equipment set-up roles Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, infection control, and sterile technique Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this role Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO requests are limited to 7 days Pending state license candidates may be considered Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including structural heart, IR, vascular, and neuro cases Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and maintaining sterile fields during procedures Facility will make efforts to provide a consistent block schedule where possible
