Days Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Tech experience Valid and current Pennsylvania state licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC) credentials Completion of PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare OR for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, efficient environment Manage specimen collection, documentation, and labeling according to facility protocols Monitor and uphold stringent infection control and patient safety standards Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia professionals throughout each case
