Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (PA) Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Compliance with PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 RN First Assist experience (minimum of 2 years required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred 2 years of hands-on RN experience required

Responsibilities:

Provide first assist support during surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons and perioperative staff Ensure optimal patient safety and care through all preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team Uphold rigorous standards for infection control, patient confidentiality, and hospital policy compliance
