Pay:

$4000/weekly Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Echosonographer II to join a Cardiac ECHO Lab in Philadelphia. This role performs various cardiac ultrasound modalities, including transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and assistance with transesophageal echocardiography . The position requires advanced knowledge and competency in pediatric echocardiography , cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, and ultrasound instrumentation. Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric echocardiograms according to laboratory standards and daily volume expectations. Perform transthoracic and stress echocardiography and assist with transesophageal echocardiography. Respond to emergent echocardiography exams in a timely manner. Prepare preliminary interpretation reports and complete study transmittal and billing procedures. Provide echocardiography coverage at satellite locations as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, quiet, and secure patient-care environment. Provide developmentally and age-appropriate care to patients and families. Participate in staff meetings, research studies, quality assurance activities, and working groups. Assist with teaching students, fellows, and new technicians. Follow hospital and department policies, procedures, and cost-control standards. Report equipment issues and assist with arranging equipment service. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience. Advanced knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation. Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Advanced proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography. Advanced proficiency operating ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software. Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care. Ability to travel between multiple work locations when required. English proficiency. Required Certification Candidates must obtain one of the following RDCS

•Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) through

ARDMS RDCS

•Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) through ARDMS Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through

CCI Preferred:

5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience and graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular program.
