40 hours/week Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Echocardiographer to join the Cardiac ECHO Lab. This role performs a variety of cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic echocardiography and stress echocardiography, with assistance in transesophageal echocardiography. The position requires advanced knowledge of pediatric echocardiography and the ability to provide high-quality, age-appropriate care to pediatric patients and their families. Responsibilities Perform pediatric echocardiograms according to department standards and protocols. Perform transthoracic and stress echocardiography. Assist with transesophageal echocardiography procedures. Respond appropriately to emergent echocardiography exams. Prepare preliminary interpretation reports and complete study transmittal and billing processes. Operate ultrasound equipment and digital reporting systems effectively. Provide compassionate, developmentally appropriate care to pediatric patients. Maintain a clean, safe, quiet, and secure patient-care environment. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Participate in quality assurance activities, research studies, staff meetings, and departmental initiatives. Assist with training students, fellows, and new technicians. Monitor equipment and report equipment issues for service. Travel to satellite locations as needed to provide echocardiography coverage. Ensure satellite locations have appropriate supplies and equipment. Requirements Minimum 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience . Advanced knowledge of ultrasound physics and ultrasound instrumentation. Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Strong knowledge and experience performing transthoracic echocardiography. Advanced pediatric echocardiography skills. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software. Ability to provide developmental and age-appropriate patient care. Ability to travel between work locations as required. High school diploma or GED required. Certification Candidates must hold, or obtain within 12 months of the start date, one of the following recognized credentials: RDCS

CCI RCCS

through CCI A graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular program is preferred. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience Experience participating in research studies. Experience working with pediatric patients in a hospital or cardiac imaging environment.

Pay:

$85.45
