This position is responsible for performing advanced pediatric cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms. The technologist will support accurate preliminary reporting, billing, study transmission, and echocardiography coverage at satellite locations. Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echoes, and assist with transesophageal echocardiography. Complete studies according to laboratory standards while meeting daily volume expectations. Respond promptly to emergent examination requests. Prepare preliminary interpretation reports and follow department workflows for reporting, billing, and study transmittal. Provide age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate care to pediatric patients. Maintain a clean, safe, quiet, and secure environment while delivering compassionate patient and family care. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Participate in staff meetings, research studies, quality assurance activities, and departmental initiatives. Assist in training students, fellows, and new technicians. Travel to satellite locations and provide echocardiography coverage as needed. Ensure satellite locations are properly stocked and report equipment issues for servicing.

Required Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience . Advanced knowledge of

•Ultrasound physics and instrumentation Cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Transthoracic echocardiography Pediatric echocardiography Advanced proficiency with ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software. Ability to provide developmentally and age-appropriate patient care. Ability to travel between multiple work locations.
