Job Description
Cardiology Department split between HV Sewickley and HV Beaver; Work hours: PT Position, work week would generally consist of two 7.5 hr/days (Mon & Fri) and two 6.5hr/days (Tues & Thurs) and off on Wednesday, will require cross campus travel, and must be flexible with working hours to cover patient volume, vacation and PTO hours of the full-time staff. Stress Lab coverage on 3 day holiday weekends may be needed. The Cardiology Technician is responsible for performing electrocardiograms (EKG) and assisting with cardiac stress testing procedures. Presents the completed exam for interpretation by the physician. Performs clerical duties surrounding cardiology diagnostic testing that includes but is not limited to filing, EKG transcription, reception responsibilities and record management.
