Qualifications:
ARRT or RCIS certification required Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Tech or in a similar imaging role Proficient in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and safety protocols Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, nurses, and patients Current BLS and ACLS certifications Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours Flexible scheduling may be available depending on department needs
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional processes in the Cath Lab Ensure proper patient positioning and monitoring throughout procedures Document imaging results and maintain accurate patient records Adhere to all safety and infection control standards Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate with biomedical staff for maintenance Provide patient education regarding procedures when appropriate
