Lola Rose is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. This position will be a mix of some nights and daytime hours with around a 50 hour work week. Ideal candidates will have the experience and confidence to step into a leadership role within our kitchen. Significant experience in a similar environment is required. We are a bustling neighborhood trattoria located in northern Mount Pleasant. Our menu focuses on highlighting food and beverage of the Mediterranean coast. The main focus is fresh and extruded pastas, wood fired pizzas, salads, and some apps and entrees using regional ingredients to showcase the area. Knowledge and interest of the following should include but not be limited to - Butchery Pizza and pasta dough production Menu Development Inventory maintenance Highlighting regional ingredients with inspiration from the Mediterranean Adhering to and requiring others to strict sanitation guidelines Consistent execution Open communication with other members of the leadership team with the FOH, BOH, and ownership.
