Responsibilities Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and patient status in real time Administer and monitor moderate sedation per protocol Maintain strict sterile technique and manage vascular access sites Document all care and procedures accurately in the EMRRespond promptly to cardiac emergencies within the lab Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care Adapt to new facilities and workflows as a travel nurse assignment Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring EKG interpretation Moderate sedation administration Vascular access management Radiation safety and fluoroscopy awareness Emergency response in cardiac events Sterile technique and scrub skills Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Medication administration for cardiac patients
