Intermountain Health seeks a Pediatric Congenital Echo Sonographer to perform high-quality pediatric and congenital echocardiograms in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will acquire and analyze advanced cardiac images for infants, children, and adolescents, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for complex congenital heart conditions. You'll work closely with pediatric cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring precise documentation and adherence to established protocols. Responsibilities Perform high-quality pediatric and congenital echocardiograms for infants, children, and adolescents Acquire, analyze, and document cardiac images to support diagnosis and treatment planning Follow established imaging protocols, safety standards, and infection-control practices Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams to review findings Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families during procedures Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound/echo equipment and related systems Accurately document studies in PACS and EMR systems in a timely manner Participate in quality improvement, case review, and continuing education activities Required Skills Pediatric echocardiography Congenital heart disease imaging Doppler and color flow imaging Operation of echo/ultrasound equipment Image acquisition and optimization PACS and EMR documentation Patient and family communication Collaboration with pediatric cardiologists Adherence to imaging protocols and safety standards Quality assurance in echo studies
