In this role, you'll work independently across a variety of maintenance responsibilities, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, work orders, inspections, repairs, and property upkeep. Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You'll Do Complete and prioritize work orders based on urgency, safety, operational impact, and property needs. Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, mechanical equipment, carpentry, painting, and general building systems within the scope of your experience and qualifications. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment performance, extend asset life, and reduce unexpected downtime. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, mechanical systems, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance and safety concerns. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate repair solutions or when specialized contractor services may be required. Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are necessary. Identify recurring maintenance problems and recommend practical solutions. Maintain accurate records of work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment repairs, and other maintenance activities. Help maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of buildings, grounds, landscaping, parking areas, and walkways. Complete seasonal property maintenance, including snow and ice removal where applicable. Monitor and maintain pool chemistry, temperature, and equipment in accordance with applicable standards where applicable (depending on the property). Follow all established safety, emergency response, regulatory, and loss-prevention procedures. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably within property management, hospitality, senior living, multi-family housing, facilities, construction, or a related environment. Strong working knowledge of maintenance principles, procedures, tools, and equipment. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, appliance, and general building repair practices. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills, including the ability to use work-order or property-management systems. Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and perform other physical activities associated with property maintenance. Ability to use proper lifting techniques to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds or more, with assistance when appropriate. Must be available to work some weekends and holidays and respond to property emergencies as necessary.
