Job Description
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Full-Time | Springfield, VA Join one of Northern Virginia's premier cardiovascular practices, where exceptional patient care, advanced imaging, and a collaborative team environment are our top priorities. We are seeking a motivated, professional, and patient-focused Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) to become an integral part of our growing cardiovascular team. If you take pride in producing high-quality diagnostic studies, enjoy working alongside experienced cardiologists, and are committed to continuous learning and excellence in echocardiography, we would love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms using evidence-based imaging protocols. Complete approximately 9 -11 echocardiograms per day while maintaining exceptional image quality and patient care. Accurately obtain and document all required measurements and Doppler data. Identify and evaluate cardiovascular pathology with a high level of clinical competence. Prepare preliminary technical findings for physician interpretation. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and fellow clinical staff to ensure outstanding patient outcomes. Promote a compassionate, patient-centered experience during every examination. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Current RDCS (ARDMS) certification required. Minimum of 3 years of echocardiography experience preferred , although highly motivated candidates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply. Experience with GE ultrasound systems and Automated Function Imaging (AFI) is preferred. Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
