1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years experience in vascular studies and endovascular interventions to support imaging in the OR and interventional radiology. Details 13-week assignment in the Cath Lab providing imaging support in the OR working vascular IR Work settings include Hybrid OR, Interventional Radiology, and Special Procedures 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Rotating call every 4th week Procedures include angioplasty, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography Procedural responsibilities include prepping access sites and using vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose Uses Siemens equipment and ultrasound Must float within scope of practice as needed Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience required BLS and ARRT (VI) certification required VA state license required if applicable, pending license accepted with in-hand licensure in another state BSN preferred Trauma Level I experience preferred Epic experience required Experience with vascular studies and procedures required Carotid stenting and thrombolysis/thrombectomy experience preferred Additional Information Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility Maximum of 40 hours of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, must be disclosed at time of submission Any vacation time planned between sign date and start date must be disclosed to allow for an appropriate start date Two professional references required for consideration Previous UVA Health permanent staff or traveler employment requires 1-year separation and leadership approval External travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days and are not eligible to return once this threshold is reached First-time travelers may be considered
