1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Cardiac Interventional Radiology, requiring ARRT VI certification and 2+ years of vascular/IR experience. Details Provide imaging support in the OR working vascular IR cases in a Hybrid OR setting 13-week assignment 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Rotating call every 4th week 50-mile radius rule applies Epic experience required Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in vascular/IR procedures ARRT VI and BLS certification required VA state license required if applicable, pending license accepted Preferred BSN Preferred Trauma Level I experience Experience with angioplasty, carotid stenting, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper/lower extremity angiography Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and access site preparation Experience with Siemens equipment and ultrasound Comfortable working independently and actively engaged throughout the entire case workflow Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures Additional Information Pull inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures Run the table and controls during cases Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology Actively engaged in the room throughout procedures, including filming and post-processing images Use HI-IQ to document and add inventory used during cases Work closely with vascular surgeons, OR team, and other procedural team members During downtime, utilize a C-arm to support simple surgical cases alongside X-ray staff, including procedures such as Impellas and cystoscopies Float within scope of practice as needed Maximum 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract, must be disclosed at submission Previous UVA employees must have 1-year separation and leadership approval; external travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days
