Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides excellent customer service Performs general administrative duties as requested by physicians and office managers Processes prior authorizations and refill requests in the Electronic Medical Record system Assists in connecting patients with various patient assistance programs offered Maintains medication samples onsite and tracks dispensing Establishes and maintains relationships with various pharmaceutical representatives Takes incoming calls from pharmacies to provide refill authorizations, answer questions about medication interactions and clarify prescriptions Takes incoming phone calls from patients and assists them with medication concerns or takes messages for the physician.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles and practices, including medical terminology and of insurance payors Ability to get along with the public and make patients feel welcome and comfortable Must be willing to travel to satellite offices if necessary Must maintain appropriate Pharmaceutical license Must have the ability to work as a team with coworkers and providers Full-time benefits package Collaborative, supportive team culture Multiple locations with consistent patient volume Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Competitive pay: $18-$23/hour, Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule and job duties 7GkA0TRHq0
