1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Tech with 2+ years of EP lab experience and required EPIC proficiency for an EP Lab assignment in Coastal Virginia. Details Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements 8-10 hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM based on departmental needs, including 5x8 and 4x10 hour options Performs invasive electrophysiology procedures including 3D mapping, EP recording, and advanced ablation techniques such as A-Fib Utilizes GE Cardio Lab and/or St Jude Work Mate equipment, with familiarity of Philips systems Supports cardiac rhythm management interrogation and programming for multi-vendor devices

experience required with no exceptions Requirements ACLS certification required; RCES or RCIS certification required or candidate must be registry eligible License required if applicable Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Electrophysiology Lab required Associate's degree or higher required, along with completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program toward Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist registry Experience with invasive EP procedures including 3D mapping, EP recording systems, and advanced ablation techniques including A-Fib required Familiarity with ICE procedures and cardiac rhythm management interrogation/programming across multi-vendor devices required EP procedure and equipment experience, along with CRM programming experience, preferred GE Healthcare charting system experience required Skills required include EKG lead placement, vascular access site prep, sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) required Experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, and AICD insertion/programming required Experience with pacemaker insertion and tilt table studies required Familiarity with Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure and Watchman procedures preferred EKG proficiency testing required with a minimum passing score of 80% Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, maintenance, and inventory stocking for EP lab procedures Perform procedural duties such as scrubbing, circulating, and maintaining sterile technique during cardiac cath lab and EP procedures Involves arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and electrophysiology evaluation Candidates with any prior license or background check hits will not be considered, no exceptions Facility cannot accommodate PAPR fit testing; any history of fit test issues will eliminate a candidate from consideration VA or compact license must be in hand at time of consideration, no exceptions Approximately 3 hours of billable orientation modules required prior to start date RTO requests are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis
