Position Summary The Senior Administrative Secretary provides support to the Director, the Discharge Planners, Social Workers, Utilization Review Staff and Hospitalist Coordinator. Duties include, but are not limited to, data entry, answering the telephone, filing and typing. The Senior Administrative Secretary acts as a liaison between patients, physicians, hospital departments, outside agencies and visitors particularly in regards to the Sponsored Care/Discount Payment Program and other hospital charity programs. Experience Two to three years of secretarial or administrative assistant experience required. Working knowledge of office equipment. Knowledge of PC systems and word processing systems required. Knowledge of and experience with medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of financial reimbursement for hospital services preferred. Basic understanding of insurance requirements preferred. Education High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Regular Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $33.82 to $45.26 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
