The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care by facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to navigate a medical office environments effectively. This position starts as an entry level position, there is room for growth and opportunities to grow within the company thereafter. Benefits 401k after 12 months of employment with a 3% match Full medical insurance (Medical, dental and vision) Care Coordinator Responsibilities Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling appointments and managing follow-up communications. Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding treatment plans and patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist with the management of medical administrative support tasks, including insurance verification and billing inquiries. Provide support in a medical office setting, ensuring that all patient interactions are handled professionally and empathetically. Educate patients about their treatment options, procedures, and any necessary pre- or post-care instructions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes. As the Lead Care Coordinator, you will also partake in management duties such as: Monitoring the performance and progress of other care coordinators Update and share with the leadership team on issues with the team Be a resource and guide to other team members and redirect accordingly Meet weekly and monthly with leadership team Cover shifts for care coordinators as needed Experience Previous experience in a medical office is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment. Experience providing medical administrative support is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike.
