Position Summary We are seeking a therapist who is grounded in trauma‑competent, body‑based, attachment‑focused work. Ideal candidates value depth‑oriented therapy, nervous system awareness, and a relational approach to healing. Responsibilities Provide client‑driven, body‑based attachment therapy that empowers clients to make choices in a safe therapeutic relationship Offer individual/group therapy using trauma‑competent modalities Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, termination summaries) Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and staff trainings Collaborate with the Clinical Director and administrative team to support client transitions Learn and use EHR systems for billing, scheduling, client records, and insurance claims Uphold Breathe's standards for trauma‑competent care, ethical practice, and professional communication Engage in ongoing professional development aligned with trauma‑focused work Required Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field Must have -- Valid Illinois licensure (LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT) Strong grounding in trauma‑informed care Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team Commitment to clinical humility and integrity, boundaries, and ethical standards Highly Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with complex trauma Advanced training or supervision in trauma‑specific modalities such as: AEDP, IFS, EMDR, nervous system regulation, Emotion Focused Therapy, Experiential therapy, attachment‑based work, somatic interventions Ability to quickly learn EHR systems for billing, scheduling, client records, and insurance claims Compensation & Benefits Percentage‑based W‑2 compensation Supportive, collaborative clinical culture Access to trauma‑focused training opportunities Flexible scheduling within practice hours Work Environment Therapists provide their own computer and furnish their own office space Professional, welcoming environment consistent with Breathe's brand Participation in team meetings, trainings, and case consultations Additional Information This job description is not intended to be all‑inclusive.
