We are looking for a professional, caring and goal-oriented Treatment Plan Coordinator to support our dentists and hygienists. This position is responsible for educating the patient on both dental treatments and financial options. We currently have an opening for a Treatment Plan Coordinator at our office located in Bingham Farms, MI . This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
  • Obtain high treatment plan acceptance by educating the patient on the diagnosis treatment, cost, insurance coverage and financial options
  • Exceed patient expectations in customer service
  • Explain treatment plans to patients
  • Complete insurance verification prior to patients' visits to determine coverage and benefit limits
  • Offer patient alternate means of payment such as third-party financing
  • Communicate and keep patients informed throughout their visit
Job Requirements:
  • 3 years' experience with dental treatment coordination (indemnity/PPO/HMO, state and federal plans)
  • Or 3 years' experience in customer service or sales
  • Knowledge of dental billing to include experience with dental procedure codes and fee schedules a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Experience with practice management software Dentrix preferred
  • Self-motivated and ambitious sales attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing and friendly personality
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
