Now Hiring:
Insurance Plan Specialist We're currently seeking an experienced Insurance Plan Specialist to support our continued growth and help us maintain excellence in service and operations. We have have openings in our Durham, Greenville and Angier offices. As a Insurance Plan Specialist, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding revenue, ensuring insurance information is accurate and up to date, and supporting seamless treatment planning for our patients. You'll help reduce outstanding A/R and ensure insurance plans are correctly created, maintained, and linked to appropriate fee schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Tasks include (but are not limited to): Review practice schedules for upcoming patient appointments Contact insurance providers via phone and web portals for verification and eligibility Create and maintain insurance plans in
Denticon:
Enter group numbers, employer info, maxes, and deductibles Record exceptions such as non-duplication, waiting periods, and clauses Input benefit details, including frequencies and age limitations Attach correct fee schedules and update patient profiles accordingly Monitor for and prevent plan duplication Support treatment plan accuracy through updated insurance data Assist with additional administrative duties as needed
What You Bring:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills Solid knowledge of dental insurance billing, A/R, and fee schedules Effective problem-solving skills, especially with denied claims Professional, team-oriented, and dependable Comfortable with computers and dental management software High School Diploma or GED required 1-2 years of experience in a dental office or dental insurance billing environment (required) Ability to lift up 15- 20 Please note: you will be required to travel to our Durham Miami office for initial training
