First Avenue Dental is looking for a fun, confident dental treatment coordinator who can connect with patients, present treatment plans, and help patients move forward with the care they need. Responsibilities Act as the liaison between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies to coordinate treatment plans and financial arrangements. Schedule patient appointments efficiently Verify patient insurance coverage, explain treatment costs, and assist with financial arrangements to promote transparency and patient satisfaction. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by documenting treatment details, patient communications. Communicate clearly with patients via phone and in person to answer questions, provide pre-treatment instructions, and follow up on care plans. Support the dental team by managing administrative tasks such as processing payments, preparing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies. Ensure compliance with health regulation policies and uphold patient confidentiality at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and team members. Experience using patient management software, EMR/EHR systems, or similar electronic health records platforms. Understanding of dental terminology and dental insurance processes to accurately support treatment planning. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality rigorously and adhere to all relevant legal requirements.
