Responsibilities Patient Consultation & Case Presentation :
Meet with new and existing patients, explain recommended orthodontic treatment, review treatment options, timelines, expectations, and answer questions.
Treatment Acceptance :
Help patients understand the value of recommended treatment and work toward treatment acceptance and case starts.
Financial Coordination :
Review treatment fees, insurance benefits, payment options, financing arrangements, contracts, and required deposits.
Insurance Verification :
Coordinate verification of orthodontic benefits, estimated insurance coverage, limitations, and patient financial responsibility.
Scheduling & Case Start Coordination :
Schedule records, consultations, bonding/start appointments, and other necessary appointments while ensuring a smooth transition into treatment.
Patient Communication & Follow-Up :
Follow up with patients who have not scheduled or accepted treatment and maintain appropriate documentation of communication.
Clinical Coordination :
Work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to ensure treatment recommendations, records, consent forms, and patient information are accurate and complete.
Documentation & Compliance :
Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, financial agreements, consent documentation, and required communications.
Production & Conversion Goals :
Monitor consultation-to-start conversion rates, case acceptance, pending treatment, and orthodontic production goals.
Patient Experience :
Provide a welcoming, professional experience from the initial consultation through the start of treatment and help resolve patient concerns.
Team Collaboration :
Communicate effectively with front office, clinical staff, billing/insurance teams, and providers to prevent delays in treatment.
Referral Relationship Support :
Help maintain relationships with referring dentists and support outreach or practice-growth initiatives when applicable.
Software Utilization :
Utilize Denticon daily for scheduling, patient records, and treatment tracking. Requirements Experience :
3+ years of dental or orthodontic front office experience (required)
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Skills :
Strong case presentation, financial coordination, and patient communication
Software :
Experience with Denticon is highly preferred
