None Summary:
As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to assist with and facilitate the licensing processes of our foster parents that align with The Village Network's Mission, Vision & Values.
Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Performs duties related to recertification and halfway verifications. Assists with state audits to ensure advocate files are in compliance. Completes home studies. Completes Treatment Foster Care/Family Foster Care and adoption home study assessments. Recruitment, screening, and interviewing of prospective foster parents. Manages foster parent training hours and ensures that all agency and Village Network requirements are met. Maintains foster parent files. Completes all appropriate documentation, logs, and paperwork. Answers phone queries. Performs other duties as required, including provision of CSP services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use a computer; familiarity with Word, Excel, and E-Time. Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required. Maintains adoption assessor certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and time management skills. Valid Ohio Driver's License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, computer printer, etc. Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
