Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator to join our team in preparation for the opening of our new Harmar office, projected to open in October. The selected candidate will complete paid training at one of our existing Pittsburgh-area locations before transitioning to Harmar. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating a welcoming, efficient experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors while managing patient check-in and check-out with professionalism and exceptional customer service. Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently while accurately scheduling patient appointments, addressing inquiries, and coordinating care based on provider availability. Verify insurance coverage, review benefits, collect copayments and balances, and explain patient financial responsibilities. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and required forms within the electronic dental system. Process daily payments, prepare deposits, and maintain accurate financial records. Provide administrative support to providers and the Practice Manager, including referrals, correspondence, and general office duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. Assist with onboarding and training new front office team members as needed. Travel to designated training locations until the Harmar office opens, then transition to the new office as your primary work location. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a dental or healthcare office preferred. Knowledge of dental office procedures, including scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and records management. Experience with dental practice management software preferred (Open Dental, Modento, or similar). Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to our existing office locations during the training period.

Monday
  • Friday, 7:30 AM
  • 4:00 PM, depending on patient flow No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Sign-On Bonus This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus , paid in two installments: $500 with your first regularly scheduled paycheck $500 upon successful completion of 90 days of employment By accepting the sign-on bonus, you agree to a one-year employment commitment . If you voluntarily resign from your position before completing one year of employment, you may be required to repay the sign-on bonus amounts received, subject to applicable law and the terms of the sign-on bonus agreement. The sign-on bonus is subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. You must be actively employed and in good standing at the time each installment is paid.
