Baxter Medical Center - Baxter, Minnesota Position Summary Baxter Medical Center is seeking a collaborative, patient-focused Chiropractor to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This position provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality chiropractic care while working closely with medical providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-informed chiropractic treatment, excellent patient communication, and collaboration across disciplines. The chiropractor will independently evaluate and treat chiropractic patients while also contributing their expertise to the broader clinical team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions and neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Provide chiropractic adjustments/manipulative therapy and other appropriate chiropractic treatment modalities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, examination findings, diagnostic information, and clinical needs. Perform comprehensive chiropractic examinations, including appropriate orthopedic and neurologic assessments. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated. Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment options, home exercises, ergonomics, injury prevention, and overall musculoskeletal health. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physical rehabilitation technicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care. Participate in case discussions and communicate relevant clinical findings and recommendations to other members of the care team. Review and interpret diagnostic imaging relevant to chiropractic and musculoskeletal care. Take x-rays and perform X-ray overreads and provide appropriate clinical interpretation/documentation in accordance with applicable Minnesota requirements, organizational policies, and the provider's scope of practice. Order or recommend appropriate diagnostic testing, referrals, or additional evaluation when clinically indicated and within the provider's scope of practice. Recognize conditions requiring medical evaluation or referral and facilitate appropriate coordination of care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient histories, examinations, treatment plans, progress notes, and imaging interpretations. Maintain compliance with applicable federal and Minnesota laws, professional standards, and Baxter Medical Center policies. Provide a high level of patient service and contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other clinical or administrative activities as appropriate. Qualifications Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic program. Current, unrestricted Minnesota chiropractic license. Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain certification as required. Appropriate training and competency in diagnostic imaging interpretation and X-ray overreads. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-informed care. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an integrated or multidisciplinary medical practice. Experience interpreting musculoskeletal X-rays. Experience collaborating with medical providers on complex musculoskeletal or orthopedic cases. Familiarity with electronic health records and integrated clinical documentation. Interest in contributing to the development and growth of an integrated chiropractic service line.
