In this vital role, you will assist the chiropractor in providing comprehensive wellness services, ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their treatment journey. Your proactive approach and compassionate communication will help foster a positive environment that promotes healing and overall well-being. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, assist with intake procedures, and gather relevant health history to facilitate accurate assessments. Support chiropractors during patient examinations and adjustments by preparing treatment areas and handling necessary equipment. Utilize medical software to document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently and accurately. Educate patients on post-treatment care, including nutrition guidance, breastfeeding support, postpartum care, and other wellness strategies. Assist with patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, conducting basic physiology and anatomy evaluations, and supporting telehealth consultations via virtual platforms. Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment while adhering to safety protocols and medical terminology standards. Provide compassionate client communication to answer questions, explain procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience. Skills Proficiency with medical software systems for documentation and scheduling purposes. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques. Experience in patient service and delivering excellent customer care in a healthcare setting. Ability to support diverse patient needs including postpartum care, labor & delivery assistance, breastfeeding support, and working with families. Familiarity with telehealth platforms to facilitate remote consultations effectively. Knowledge of nutrition principles relevant to overall health and wellness programs. Experience in providing Reiki services or holistic approaches to complement chiropractic care is a plus.
