Job Description

Job Overview Seanar Achievement Center is seeking a qualified individual for a role on our team as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) . We are looking for an experienced Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist clinician specializing in providing high-level care for individuals facing complex substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. This position entails conducting advanced diagnostic evaluations, designing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and offering specialized interventions tailored to client needs. This team member provides leadership in program development, clinical supervision, and staff training, ensuring the delivery of quality care across the organization. Additionally, this role involves participating in research initiatives, quality improvement projects, and advocacy efforts to advance the field of addiction treatment. The LCAS exemplifies clinical excellence and serves as a trusted expert within the organization and the community. Responsibilities Review and process licensing applications for compliance with state and federal regulations. Conduct thorough assessments of applicants' qualifications, including background checks and verification of credentials. Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensing records in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure adherence to medical terminology and documentation requirements. Provide guidance and support to applicants throughout the licensing process, addressing any questions or concerns. Collect and analyze data related to licensing trends and compliance issues. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to licensing practices. Participate in training sessions on case management, patient assessment, and clinical counseling as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Experience in case management or patient assessment is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation processes. Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy and group therapy techniques is a plus. Strong analytical skills for effective data collection and reporting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Previous experience in mental health counseling or clinical counseling is advantageous. Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or a related field. Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). 5+ years of clinical experience in addiction treatment, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex cases. Certification or advanced training in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care or dual diagnosis. Leadership experience in clinical settings.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in advanced clinical practices and therapeutic techniques. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education. Willingness to represent the organization at conferences or community events. This is an on-site position.
