May be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing clinical data reporting systems for the clinical staff to use.

Job Summary:
HIM Analyst reviews records for completeness according to hospital, licensing and accrediting agency standards. HIM Analyst will identify responsible health care provider and link deficiency to appropriate physician for completion. Assist in execution of physician suspension policy and reanalysis.

Job Essentials:
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Must be proficient in diverse computer and applications and Windows based software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Education Requirements:
High school graduate with additional vocational or college training preferred. Four years' experience in an acute care Health Information Management Department with responsibility for maintaining documentation requirements. Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
