The School of Sciences is seeking a passionate and experienced adjunct faculty member to join our School of Sciences community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating learning in the Healthcare Informatics and Data Systems didactic setting. Candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching through innovative evidence-based practice. This role is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated educator to shape the future of the healthcare workforce with compassionate, skilled, and knowledgeable healthcare professionals. The faculty member will prepare future healthcare professionals to effectively utilize electronic health records, clinical decision support tools, and health data analytics to improve patient outcomes, healthcare quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Management, Health Data Analytics, Health Science, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), healthcare data systems, or clinical informatics tools. Teaching experience in higher education or professional training related to healthcare or health informatics. Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Demonstrated ability to integrate healthcare technology into teaching and learning environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Healthcare Informatics, Health Science, Nursing, Public Health, or related discipline. Professional certification in health informatics or health information management (e.g., RHIA, CHDA, CPHIMS). Experience with healthcare analytics platforms, population health data systems, or clinical quality improvement data. Experience teaching online or hybrid courses using learning management systems
