Devoted Companions Home Care LLC Union County, Pennsylvania Full-time, salaried; field work within an assigned territory Starting salary: $48,000 per year, with opportunities for increases as the territory grows and performance requirements are met. Devoted Companions Home Care LLC is seeking an experienced non-medical home care professional to grow and manage services within an assigned Pennsylvania territory. This position combines business development, caregiver recruitment, client onboarding and ongoing case management. We are looking for someone who has worked with a non-medical home care agency, understands daily agency operations and can begin developing referrals and arranging services immediately.
YOUR TERRITORY
Union County, with nearby coverage agreed upon before hire. You must be able to travel regularly within this territory for referral development, client visits, caregiver recruitment and service coordination. Final coverage boundaries will be agreed upon before hire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations and other local partners. Follow up promptly on agency referrals and identify new opportunities to serve eligible clients. Coordinate client intake, service authorizations, onboarding and the start of care. Recruit, screen and coordinate qualified caregivers to staff assigned cases. Manage schedules, caregiver call-outs, client concerns and continuity of care. Maintain accurate records and oversee timely documentation through HHAeXchange and electronic visit verification. Understand payer reimbursement, blended caregiver pay rates, overtime and staffing costs, and work within agency-approved budgets. Monitor authorized hours, delivered services, staffing coverage and client satisfaction. Provide weekly reports on referrals, pending starts, active cases, caregiver recruitment and barriers to service.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Previous experience working for a non-medical home care agency. Demonstrated experience developing referrals, recruiting caregivers and managing home care cases. Working knowledge of Pennsylvania Medicaid-funded home care operations, service authorizations, care plans and EVV. Ability to explain your previous results in client growth, staffing and case retention. Reliable transportation and the ability to complete regular field visits. Strong follow-through, communication and problem-solving skills. Existing professional relationships within the assigned territory are strongly preferred. A reference or letter of recommendation from a previous agency supervisor is preferred.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
This role includes clear growth and service-quality expectations. The initial target is 10 new client starts during the first 30 days, followed by 5-10 new starts per month. A completed start means the client has completed onboarding, required services are authorized, a qualified caregiver is assigned and services have begun. Referral names alone do not count as completed starts. Performance reviews will consider growth, caregiver coverage, retention, documentation, service quality and the financial performance of the assigned cases. The caseload may grow toward approximately 60 active clients, subject to client needs, travel requirements and available staffing and administrative support.
COMPENSATION GROWTH
Starting salary is $48,000 annually. Salary reviews may provide growth up to $72,000 annually as the territory develops, subject to sustained performance and the agency's written compensation plan.
