Job Summary Ready to launch your career in addiction counseling? Outreach Recovery is looking for a driven, compassionate Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) to join our clinical team at our Waldorf/Lexington Park or Glen Burnie/Baltimore locations. This is a hands-on opportunity to earn the clinical supervision hours you need toward your CSC-AD or CAC-AD certification, working alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary clinical team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will gain hands-on experience working with individuals in recovery while learning directly from experienced counselors and a multidisciplinary clinical team. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior counselors to conduct patient intakes, assessments, and treatment planning Lead and co-facilitate psychoeducational and therapy groups that empower clients on their recovery journey Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation under supervision Manage a diverse caseload and coordinate care with medical providers, case managers, and community resources Actively participate in weekly clinical supervision, treatment team reviews, and ongoing professional development Build genuine, trust-based relationships with clients to support engagement and long-term recovery

Requirements Required:

Active Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) registration with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors Strong organizational skills, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to ethical, client-centered care Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative clinical team Genuine passion for helping individuals build a life in recovery

Preferred:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field Prior coursework or experience in addiction counseling, group therapy, or case management
