Job Description

Summary:
Supports Epic inpatient clinical workflows, configuration, testing, and production support for hospital documentation, orders, medication workflows, care coordination, and patient-care operations.
Pay:
70 - 75/hr W2 only Core responsibilities:
  • Must be certified in Epic IP or ClinDoc etc Build, validate, and support inpatient documentation, orders, order sets, care plans, clinical decision support, security, and workflow configuration.
  • Resolve inpatient incidents, enhancement requests, release impacts, and patient-care-sensitive defects.
  • Coordinate with nursing, physicians, pharmacy, ancillary departments, trainers, reporting, interfaces, and Epic/vendor teams.
  • Develop test scripts, downtime/operational support documentation, runbooks, and optimization recommendations.
  • Support upgrades, integrated testing, go-live readiness, and continuous improvement of inpatient workflows.
Level expectations:
  • Owns complex or escalated work, leads small enhancements or transition activities, mentors junior resources, identifies root causes, and improves operating procedures and service quality.
Skills/Experience:
  • Epic inpatient module experience/certification, hospital clinical workflow, testing, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and clinical safety awareness.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Epic ClinDoc, Orders, Stork, Willow, or related certification preferred or required by scope.
