Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, check them in, and manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Experience using ChiroTouch is a plus. Assist with patient intake, including verifying insurance coverage, collecting co-pays, and updating medical records with accurate documentation review. Handle phone communication professionally, answering inquiries about appointments, insurance, and clinic services with clarity and courtesy. Support medical billing processes by coding procedures with CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain organized medical records and ensure confidentiality according to clinical confidentiality policies. Provide administrative support for clinic operations, including managing care plans documentation, medical office management tasks, and assisting with medical scheduling. Must have flexibility to work in the Bend or Redmond office based on the needs of either clinic. Must be available to work Saturday's half-day in the Bend, OR. clinic Must be willing to fill in full-time hours as needed when full-time staff have scheduled PTO Qualifications Prior clinic experience or medical office experience preferable. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. Knowledge of health insurance processes/verification. Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities. Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Demonstrated clerical experience and office organization skills. Understanding of HIPAA compliance, clinical confidentiality policies, and health information management standards preferred.
