Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an organized Follow-Up Coordinator who will be responsible for organizing patient follow-ups, ensuring proper communication, and assisting the healthcare team with various tasks. The candidates should be capable of managing medical files, billing, and insurance tasks. Responsibilities
- Manage patient follow-ups related to their medical records, billing, and insurance.
- Make calls to patients in order to obtain missing information or to schedule an appointment.
- Coordinate with the providers and insurers in terms of resolving claims and obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Ensure that all insurance is verified and the electronic health record is updated.
- Assist with the coding of medical procedures (CPT, ICD-10). Requirements
- Awareness of HIPAA, medical terminology, and insurance regulations.
- Experience with EHR/EMR and medical coding.
- Communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Pay:
$24.53- $31.
