Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medtech and PCA, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care across diverse settings. Whether working in assisted living communities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments, you will support individuals with a wide range of needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions. Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility support, and feeding for residents or patients. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track health status accurately. Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Support specialized care needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, and medication administration for individuals with complex health conditions. Document patient information thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic or Cerner to ensure accurate medical records management. Observe and report changes in physical or mental condition promptly to healthcare professionals. Assist with mobility and transfer techniques to promote safety during activities of daily living. Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each individual's needs across various care environments including hospice, memory care, or acute care settings. Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic nursing practices. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for efficient medical documentation. Experience providing Alzheimer's care, dementia support, hospice services or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to perform clinical tasks including tube feeding, catheter care, medication administration and vital signs monitoring accurately. Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassion for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
