Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our mental health clinic. The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for new clients, responsible for gathering essential information, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating appointments. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process for individuals seeking mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial contact and gather client history. Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Provide information about clinic services and policies. Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for clients.Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, billing software and Apple computer systems Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy.
